Goodbye to a Hip-Hop Legend - Nate Dogg
written on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 @ 9:49 PM ?

R.I.P Nate Dogg August 19, 1969 - March 15, 2011
One of my hip-hop idols passed away. Nate Dogg the King of G-Funk died at the age of 41. I remember growing up to his songs especially to his well known hits of "Regulate" and "Ring the Alarm".  I grew up listening to Gangsta rap and hip-hop flows in my veins. We lost another legend with the likes of 2pac, Notorious B.I.G and many others who are in heaven. You will be missed! =(

Craving for barbeque? Try Mang Inasal!
written on @ 2:53 PM ?

One place that I miss in Dubai is Golden Fork! That place sure does brings memories! Golden Fork was a great place for a date, meet up and reunion! I had a lot of great moment with friends Keith, Jay, Rob, Hamdan to name a few name. The scenario of Golden Fork was great but it was not the atmosphere that I and my friends loved the best. It was the food! If your from Dubai, Golden Fork was known for its Chicken Tikka and Puri! Just the thought of it makes my mouth water!

In the Philippines, they have their own blend of Chicken Tikka and that would be a place called "Mang Inasal". Mag Inasal is a barbecue place that is well known in the Philippines and in my opinion, it would soon hit the shores of the United States along with other countries.

Chicken Barbecue with unlimited rice for P99 at Mang Inasal
To be honest, when I first tried the barbecue chicken at Mang Inasal, I loved it! It was cheap and tasted delicious. Mang Inasal is also known for it's special sauce that customers can include into their chicken and rice. The sauce in my opinion does the talking for the chicken!

I am not a fan of veggies, but they have their own set of fried leafy vegetables which is called "Crispy Kang Kong". Try Crispy Kang Kong along with mayonnaise. A lot of people like to go to Mang Insasal because of its speedy service, its unique way of clearing tables and unlimited rice. If I need a cheap place to eat with speedy service with a unique blend of Filipino hospitality along with it's delicious barbecue chicken, I would definitely put Mang Inasal on top of my Filipino food list!

SM City Rosario, Cavite is my favorite SM Mall
written on @ 12:56 AM ?

SM Rosario, Cavite, February 13, 2011
Now you're probably wondering why? Well I have been to many SM malls all over Manila but somehow I prefer to keep coming back to SM City Rosario, Cavite. =) SM City Rosario is just like any SM mall but the only difference is that it's not crowded compared to all the SM malls that I have been to.

SM City Rosario is a small mall, and yet so comfortable! I'm the kind of person that does not like gigantic malls since I am old school. I prefer to be in smaller malls where I can roam around and relax. SM City Rosario is just the right mall to meet people. They have almost every restaurant, shop which makes it convenient to any customer.

What intrigues me the most about SM City Rosario mall is that they have the P15 movie tickets for old movies at SM Cinemas which really blew my mind away. Since I am a movie buff and I strive from a family of movie lovers, this mall fits me like a glove. The mall includes free WiFi and they seem to have always an event almost every other week. I always go to SM City Rosario, Cavite every weekend.

There never seems to be traffic unless they have a special event going on. Parking is never a hassle, so if you have your own transportation then SM City Rosario is the place for you. As I keep hearing the SM tune at SM City Rosario, "They got it all!"
