Splash Island, Laguna Review
written on @ 8:14 PM ?

Splash Island Entrance
I have been to many resorts, and I love water parks! For the weekend, I headed to Splash Island in Laguna. The day started off on a bad note since drinks/food are not allowed, and your bags are checked. The food service at Splash Island was horrible. I had to wait almost an hour just to get a meal. The meals and drinks are outrageously expensive. A piece of advice, before coming to Splash Island, it's more advisable to eat at home or the near by restaurants close by the water resort.
Wall Climbing
Even though the day started out bad, I had fun with wall climbing, zip line and the water rides. It was fun. The only downside of the water rides is that I had to wait extremely long. The queues for the rides are extremely long. I would definitely recommend everyone to come to Splash Island on weekday rather then a weekend or you will be extremely disappointed.

Pros
* Lots of activities which includes: Water rides, Zip line, Wall Climbing, Golf and paintball among others.
* If you can't afford the parking, there are tons of parking which is close by the resort.
* Entertainment from a live band. (There was a band when I was visiting Splash Island at the time)

Cons
* Food/Drinks not allowed. The food is quite expensive. A coke can cost around P35.
* Lockers are expensive. P300, and they don't hold anything responsible if an item is missing.
* Extremely long queues for the water rides and zip line.
* Food service and the restaurants are horrible. Poor service in which I had to cancel my order after an hour of  waiting.
* Extremely crowded on the weekend. I prefer a weekday.
* Shower rooms are awful. It was extremely difficult to change into my board shorts (swimwear). Bathrooms are unsanitary.
* All the rides close by 4.30pm.
