Filipino children smoking
Almost 4,628 were caught smoking in public since the non-smoking law was enforced almost two months ago. Many of the violators opted to pay the P500 fine instead of community service. Many Filipinos continue to smoke despite the hefty fine that would face them.

Smoking fines

First Offense: P500 to P1000 fine or 8 hours community service
Second Offense: P1000 to P5000 fine or 16 hours community service
Third Offense: P10,000 fine or 32 hours of community service
