Happy birthday to the Material girl Madonna. The singer known for hit such as "Papa don't preach" and "Like a Virgin" turns 53 today and celebrated her  week with 24-year-old beau Brahim Zaibat, the French DJ she's been with for nearly a year.

Madonna and Zaibat showed some public display of affection over the weekend in the Hamptons. They were spotted embracing and having a good time.

Zaibat, a sometimes-DJ and full-time dancer, met the star last September when he was hired to perform at an event for the release of her Material Girl clothing line.

"She's just a woman like all the others. She's an extraordinary artist and world famous, of course, but a woman above all," Zaibat told Grazia magazine in December.
