Watched the Fast Five Premiere at MOA! (Movie Review)

It was on May 3, 2011 that I was lucky enough to get a premiere ticket to watch the Fast and Furious 5 Rio Heist! It was held at Pasay city at the Mall of Asia (MOA) at 7.30pm. It was so crowded with people from different ages. The people who are car enthusiasts easily stood out with their hair styles and colorful clothing. Most of the people who were at the premiere were either in groups or on dates. PLDTmyDSL Watchpad was one of the sponsors and their promo girl greeted me. ;) hehe
I chose my favorite popcorn and drink and the movie started! It was loud! The movie was intense and car race scenes once again lived to its hype! They had all an all star cast from the Fast and the Furious franchise. As usual, I will not reveal the scenes but I can tell you one thing for sure! The Rock along with the rest of the actors. did an amazing job! As usual, there's a surprise twist at the end of the movie, just like every Fast and the Furious movie you have seen and there's no stopping the franchise yet!

Movie Review
The movie continues from the Fast and the Furious 4 and they are fugitives on the run. This time its an all star cast from the Fast and the Furious franchise and they have their eyes set on $100 million. The movie starts off in Brazil. They have the perfect plan but they are faced with obstacles.
They have to steal the money from the most ruthless man and powerful man (Joaquim de Almeida) in Brazil along with a DSS (Diplomatic Security Service) agent (Dwayne Johnson) who tries to capture the fugitives and put them behind bars in the US. I don't want to spoil the rest of the plot. The rest of the remaining scenes is up to you guys to decide if you to see the movie! It is highly recommended to watch the past Fast and the Furious movies to understand and enjoy the suspense in the end. =)

It was a hot day! The event for today was the Fast and Furious 5 car event show! Now I have been to many car shows like in Dubai, U.A.E and L.A, California. I am a big fan of Fast and the Furious franchise! Vin Diesel is an amazing actor. Fast and the Furious is known for displaying the street race culture in the US. Along with the street culture, it also displays the latest in car re modification. It was the Fast and the Furious franchise that put car re modification and street racing on the map! It became more fast famous due to its multicultural society, great soundtrack and of course good looking women!
I thought the Philippines would be a bore and it wouldn't have any of the same thrill like they had in the car shows in the US. Was I wrong! Filipinos are still creative. I guess its that Asian flavor that we all have and install it into our cars. The event was on April 30th, 2011 on a Saturday. I have to say it was a little hot so that means a lot of people came in their shorts, tank tops and shades. I was like wow! The music and scenario was intense! If your a car lover like me, then its a car lover dream come true.
I have to admit, one of the best parts of the event was the drift competition. I had the best view of the race and the drift competition was intense. All I could hear was the sound of the wheels screeching at every drift and the smoke coming out of the tires. The announcer kept the crowd on its feet with his brilliant social skills. I took some great pictures! I would rather let my pictures do the talking! More pictures coming up soon!

I can't wait to see this as well!. I don't want to ruin this movie for anyone, but it has a majority of good views so far from movie buffs! The movie also has it's share of critques.
Go to to the movies and check it out for yourself!I don't want to ruin the plot but it's about a platoon trying to reclaim Los Angeles from aliens! Enjoy!

A little bit about myself. I was born and raised in Dubai (U.A.E) until I went to Arizona (U.SA). You could say I love traveling. For the record, I am a Filipino. I just lived and studied abroad. A graduate of Southern New Hampshire University and Maine High School graduate, I feel that life has more to offer. I'm a Business Administration graduate but this is something I feel that I am passionate about. I love to breakdance but I'm not getting any younger. I like traveling but that requires a lot of cash. But I love to explore.
Since I love traveling, I first started this blog as a travel blog and I was bored. Anyway, once I arrived in the Philippines, I decided to stay for awhile and adapt to the Filipino way of life. Trust me! It wasn't easy since I had to adjust from scratch! But everything turned out well.
How I started blogging? It was when a friend suggested that I should blog. My first thought of blogging is that it was a boring job and besides what do I blog about? Voila! That's how my blogging world began and now I'm hooked! Now I mainly blog about events, news, movies, concerts and travel! A lot huh? By the way, I do make some grammar mistakes on my blog but hey nobody is perfect! =)
